When she opened her eyes, a vein in her left temple had grown an organ, a heart. With each throb, it swelled and she heard her blood rush through her like rapids. She wondered how long before it consumed her and whether, as it did, it recognised her existence and bore her some affection.

Good for you! I’ve adjusted my diet massively and experimented with prophylactics but nothing worked until i tried acupuncture. The treatment isn’t over but I’m seeing really quite amazing results. Thanks for reading!

I like this, Babe. There is a hint of hope amongst the pain. Sort of like an acceptance of two forces co-existing, you and your migraine.
